   As a session drummer, the international experience of Amhed Mitchel includes being part of the recording of the Grammy nominated CD featuring Carlos Del Puerto, and had the honor to be invited to the closing concert of the Jazz Festival of Tokio 2004, where he played  with music icons like Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Dave Holland, Dianne Reeves and Leonel Lueke.  Now his current  gigs are , performing with Elmer Ferrer Band  , Hilario Duran ,  Alexander Brown Quintet ,  Big Crush band and many others .
